Polyx™

Polyx™ is made by a process of tumbling, needle-punching, and baking low and high melting-point polyester fibres. The high-density fibrous network absorbs sounds and reduces reverberation. Polyx™ comes in 2 different thickness: 9mm and 12mm.

Tessellate

12mm Polyester Panels, Cable Gripper & Wire Ropes

Polyx™ Tessellate consists of faceted three-dimensional panels — Kite
Panel, Tri Panel & Hex Panel. These panels can be modularly tessellated
in diverse ways to form complex geometries.

Tri-Hex

12mm Polyester Panels, Hexagon Connectors

Polyx™ Tri-Hex is designed to be modular in nature. The panels consists of three-dimensional triangular panels held together by connectors to create hexagonal units. Each of the connectors can be installed via wire ropes to the ceiling.

Frequently Asked Questions

AntiCAD™ Polyx™ is a series of high-density acoustic polyester panels made through tumbling, needle-punching and baking low- and high-melting-point polyester fibres into a fibrous network that absorbs sound and reduces reverberation in interior spaces. These panels help improve acoustic comfort in offices, public venues and commercial interiors.

Polyx™ panels are available in 9 mm and 12 mm thickness options, allowing designers to select the right panel depth based on acoustic performance targets, visual scale, and installation method requirements.

Polyx™ offers several modular panel formats designed for both acoustic performance and architectural expression, including Polyx™ Tessellate, which uses faceted Kite, Tri and Hex modules that tessellate into complex geometries; Polyx™ Tri-Hex, which arranges triangular panels into dynamic hexagonal formations; and Polyx™ Waffle Baffle, a ceiling system that uses meandering baffle profiles to enhance sound absorption while creating sculptural overhead patterns.

The high-density polyester fibre network in Polyx™ traps and dissipates sound energy rather than reflecting it back into the room. This lowers reverberation and improves sound clarity, which is especially beneficial in large open areas, reception spaces, galleries, lecture halls or hospitality interiors.

Yes. Panels like Polyx™ Tessellate and Tri-Hex are often employed in parametric design workflows to create dynamic, three-dimensional acoustic surfaces that combine performance with architectural expression. Computational design tools such as Rhino 3D and Grasshopper Rhino are commonly used to configure these modular patterns.
